A suburban supermarket. You’ve been here before. In the car park, mothers are vying for parking spots in their spotless four-wheel drives. Inside, the trolleys are battered and the last packet of cinnamon was just taken from its carefully alphabetised place in the spice section. TUESDAY is an intricate satire of suburban banality and social alienation. Sometimes you can watch a puddle of juice like it holds the answer to the universe.

“Tuesday is a beautiful production. Gripping despite the depiction of suburban banality, it is beautifully written and directed with a deft and warm hand by Nell Ranney.” Lisa Thatcher

“Director Nell Ranney’s emphasis on tension and gravity from the get go, creates a powerful work of theatre that delivers incessant ironic laughter, as well as an undeniable sense of poignancy in its microscopic scrutiny into the everyday.” Suzy Goes See

“Tuesday is a tight, honest script directed with nuance and performed generously.” Night Writes
